North General Home Attendant Corporation, was incorporated in February, 1980. It is a non-profit private organization with its major concentration in providing personal care to the disabled, handicapped and elderly person pursuant to TITLE XIX of the United States Social Security Act, Article 5, TITLE II of the New York State Service Law, 42, CFR 430.0 Section.

North General Home Attendant Corporation provides the services of R.N.'s and Home Attendants.

N.G.H.A.C.'s performance has always been par excellent with a rating by the city of New York of 99% to 100% in all areas of our health care deliverance.

We realize that illnesses and other disabilities bring about a change in the stability of an individual's everyday life.

Our highly trained efficient staff here at N.G.H.A.C. are capable of recognizing these changes, and stand ready to provide the services required to adequately meet the needs of these individuals.

Our staff is comprised of professionals such as Administrators, Registered Nurses (R.N.'s), Coordinators and certified paraprofessionals.

REGISTERD NURSES (R.N.'S), provide professional nursing assessment for out clients at home.

HOME ATTENDANTS, who have completed the required certificate course in home care, help our patients in a variety of personal and health care needs.

We are committed to keeping our staff updated on changes in health care procedures, the latest technologies by the provision of frequent In Service Education and Seminars.

Our field staff is closely monitored at all times by our Registered Nurses and Assistant Director of Field Operations. Our care providers must meet our standards of educational qualifications and professionalism. They should have respect for themselves, patients and family members, be dependable and empathetic.

NGHAC is a Licensed Home Care Services Agency serving the two boroughs in New York City, the Bronx and Manhattan. A supervisory staff member is available at all times seven days a week twenty-four hours day.
